We don't aggregate orders across multiple contract manufacturers. One dedicated pelletizing line in Xingtai means consistent particle size, traceable batches, and HCN testing on every cassava lot before it touches the floor.
What you get, in one paragraph
RootPurr produces 100% plant-based cat litter — 100% Pure Cassava, Cassava + Tofu Blend (a 70:30 cassava + pea-fiber tofu blend), and pure pea-fiber tofu — for US private-label brands at one dedicated production line in Xingtai, Hebei. We do not produce bentonite cat litter. Standard MOQ is 1 FCL (~27,000 lb), lead time is 30–45 days from artwork sign-off, and pricing is quoted per formula and volume after a short call. Every shipment includes a per-batch certificate of analysis, an HCN test result for cassava lines, an ASTM D6940 dust-test report, and an HTS-classified commercial invoice. We ship FOB Tianjin / Shanghai or DDP to your US 3PL.

Private-label questions, answered
What's the MOQ for private-label cat litter?+
1× 40HQ FCL (~1,500 cases at 18 lb / case, ~27,000 lb total) for custom-printed bags. LCL trial orders are possible for first-time buyers with a logistics surcharge. What's the lead time?+
30–45 days from artwork sign-off and 50% deposit, broken into raw-material QC + HCN testing (5–7 days), pelletizing and packing (14–21 days), printing and palletization (5–7 days), and export inspection (3–5 days). Add ~7–10 days for custom-formula development on first runs.
How is private-label pricing structured?+
Per-formula and per-volume, quoted on the proforma after a short qualification call. Pricing is materially different from wholesale because the commercial model is different: you are paying for manufacturing cost plus our margin, not for finished branded goods at a reseller markup. We share the per-pound bracket on a 15-minute discovery call so we can match the quote to your formula spec, MOQ, incoterm (FOB or DDP), and payment terms.
Can you develop a custom formula?+
Yes — cassava : pea-fiber tofu blends from 50:50 to 80:20, scent profiles, activated-carbon levels (0–3%), pellet sizes (1.5–3.0 mm). 100% Pure Cassava is also available with a custom plant-binder spec (guar gum + pulse-flour matrix). We do not blend with bentonite. Custom formula adds 7–10 days to lead time and requires 1 FCL minimum.
What payment terms apply?+
First order: 50% T/T deposit on order confirmation, 50% T/T balance against scanned copy of bill-of-lading. Net-30 starts from your second PO after credit verification. T/T or L/C accepted in USD to a US-domiciled receiving account.
Do you handle US import customs?+
On DDP shipments, yes — we handle ocean freight, US customs entry, MPF, HMF, and last-mile to your 3PL. We supply HTS classification (1404.90.9000 for our cassava + pea-fiber blends, 1108.14.0000 for pure tofu and 100% pure cassava lines) on the commercial invoice. On FOB shipments, you handle import; we provide all documentation needed for your customs broker.
